As many know, Riverfront Marine was a Parker Boat dealer for 31 years, and this has now come to an end. We were sad to see our relationship end, but it was necessary. We will always thank Linwood Parker for his partnership with us. His retirement (six years ago) changed the trajectory of the company, and once the new company purchased it from him, it no longer aligned with Riverfront's core values and integrity. Customer satisfaction and warranty issues are important to us, and when you see a drop in satisfaction and a rise in issues, a change had to be made.

Riverfront Marine is very pleased to announce that we will be a Defiance Boat dealer starting in the 2027 model year. We are honored to be a Defiance Boat dealer and to represent the style and quality of the product that our customers deserve.
Defiance builds Pilot House-style (Admiral Series) models from 22 ft to 29 ft, and Center Console models (Catalina Series) from 19 ft to 24 ft. For those who want a little more cruising, the 220 San Juan model can fit your needs.
Models are on order and are expected to arrive in late fall as inventory begins to roll in. In the meantime, contact our sales team for details on these exciting models.
What drew us to Defiance is the same thing our customers consistently ask for: a fishing-first layout that doesn’t cut corners on build quality, fit and finish, or real-world usability. These boats are designed for serious days on the water, with thoughtful deck space, smart storage, and a layout that makes sense when the weather changes and the bite turns on.
The Admiral Series Pilot House models are a strong fit for our region and our customers’ boating style. A true pilot house setup offers the comfort and protection that keeps you fishing longer through shoulder seasons, early mornings, and unexpected chop. It also means more confidence for families and crews who want a boat that can do double-duty—hardcore fishing one day and comfortable cruising the next.
The Catalina Series Center Console models bring a different kind of versatility. If you like a wide-open deck, straightforward access around the boat, and a layout that adapts quickly from casting to trolling to sandbar time, the Catalina line checks a lot of boxes. They’re also a great option for customers who want a capable boat that’s easy to tow, easy to maintain, and easy to enjoy.
As inventory begins to arrive, we’ll be sharing more specifics on the exact configurations we have coming and what options will be available to order. Defiance offers a variety of equipment and layout choices, and our goal is to help you match the boat to how you actually use it—where you fish, how many people you typically run with, and the kinds of conditions you plan to take on.
Here are a few of the areas our team will walk through with you as we build out the right Defiance package:
- Fishing layout and deck function (cockpit space, storage, live well/bait needs, rod storage)
- Electronics planning (making sure the helm layout and power needs are considered from the start)
- Seating and comfort (crew size, family use, and how you want the boat to feel on longer runs)
- Trailer and towing setup (tow vehicle considerations, travel distance, and ramp routine)
- Serviceability (access and maintenance planning so ownership stays straightforward)
Our service department is preparing now so that when the first boats land, we’re ready to support them at the level our customers expect. That includes familiarizing our team with model-specific rigging details and ensuring we have a clear path for parts, warranty support, and the day-to-day service items that matter over the life of the boat.
We also know that a change like this creates questions—especially for customers who have been loyal to the brand we carried for decades. If you currently own a Parker purchased through Riverfront, we’re here to help you navigate what comes next, whether that’s general service guidance, trade-in conversations, or planning your next boat. Our focus remains the same: straightforward answers, honest recommendations, and support that doesn’t disappear after the sale.
As we get closer to arrival dates, we’ll be announcing opportunities to see these boats in person. If you’d like to be notified as soon as the first units are scheduled to hit the lot—or if you want to reserve time with our sales team to go over model differences and ordering options—reach out and we’ll make sure you’re on the list.
